Hello!

I'm Jessica Ferrell, a speech-language pathologist and the founder of Little Sparks Speech Therapy. After working in a variety of settings, I found my passion in school-based services—especially through teletherapy, where I’ve had the opportunity to support students across many states. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in 2009 and my master’s from Governors State University in 2015. Over time, I saw how much schools were struggling to find reliable, qualified providers—not just for teletherapy, but for in-person roles as well. That’s why I started Little Sparks: to give districts a dependable partner they can count on and to create a supportive, flexible environment where therapists can thrive. As both a parent and a provider, I’m passionate about helping every child—and every professional—shine.
