Provider Spotlight: Anna!

Anna, enjoying time with her daughter!

We are excited to spotlight Anna, a Minnesota-based SLP with a passion for helping the littlest learners find their voices! Anna brings 15 years of experience to the field, and we are so fortunate to have her on the team.

Passion for Early Learners

While Anna has a broad range of experience, she is most passionate about working with preschool and early elementary students, especially those with speech sound disorders. She approaches therapy with a play-based mindset and loves having fun with her students.

"They have great little senses of humor and are fun to be around!"

Therapy Philosophy

If Anna had to pick an emoji to describe her therapy style, it would be 🤟—a perfect representation of her supportive, connection-focused approach. Her advice to new therapists is simple: lean on your mentors and never stop asking questions.

"It's okay not to be an expert about everything. Use your mentors, find solid resources, and ask lots of questions."

Life Outside of Therapy

When she's not supporting students, Anna enjoys spending quality time with her family and prioritizing work-life balance. She loves reading, being out on the water, and gardening during the summer months. She also enjoys downhill skiing and tackling puzzles with her daughter.

In her downtime, you'll often find her listening to the Good Hang podcast or watching competition shows like Blown Away and Rock the Block.

Why Little Sparks?

What's Anna's favorite thing about working with Little Sparks?

"The flexibility and work-life balance! Also that the company is owned by a fellow SLP who 'gets it.'"
